Go Deeper!
Going natural seemed to be the easy way out. I mean, no more chemicals in you hair, certainly a smarter and safer choice. No more hiding from water - yes, I could swim whenever I wanted!
But let’s go a little deeper, going natural for me, also meant not having to conforming to social pressures, your free.
But wait, whose hair is this that’s growing out of my head!
I wash, condition and apply the products that are all the rave, after all Becky uses them and her hair looks fabulous.
But what’s up with my hair—the knots, frizz, and can I get a D for dry, dry and did I say DRY.?
Going natural has been the best decision I’ve made for my health and my hair, but it was not without its challenges. From the big chop, figuring out styles, dealing with my families comments about my hair “rebellion”, to getting used to the fact that my hair had a mind of its own.

I was frustrated!
I resisted the urge and decided to create products that left Becky green with envy.
Curly hair’s worst enemy is dryness. So let’s take a closer look at how we can stop this diva!
Combating dryness can change the path of your natural hair journey.
There are various things that should be considered when discussing moisture, one basic science. The science of your hair pH is very important. A pH is the measure of how acidic a substance is.
The PH scale ranges from 0-14.
Your hair’s pH balance plays a vital role in hair moisture and how your hair reacts to products.
The right pH balance allows hair to hold moisture and maintain its sebum. Sebum is your hair’s natural conditioner, a protective shield that is responsible for maintaining moisture. Moisture is what gives your hair the ability to bend and not break during manipulation aka styling. When your hair loses its moisture, it becomes dry and breakage starts to happen.
